Honoring Marilyn Waggoner
Marilyn Mitchell Waggoner was born in Birmingham, AL on July 28, 1938.
She is the only child of Arthur M.(Pete) Mitchell and Corry Stamps Mitchell.
Marilyn attended Ensley High School, Auburn University, pledging Phi Mu
social sorority, University of Alabama in Birmingham, and Southern
Institute, studying Interior Design.
Marilyn is married to State Senator Jabo Waggoner. They have four
children, Mark Waggoner, Scott Waggoner, Lyn Kilpatrick and Jay
Waggoner. They have seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
Marilyn and Jabo reside in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
